Must get for Fall...

For my transition from Summer to Fall I have two main must have accessory items.

1. A red leather satchel bag- The bag featured above is the one that I have purchased from the Dooney & Bourke outlet. It's all italian leather for $218.00 including tax. The bag is spacious and has a separate cell phone pocket. The bag comes in various colors, teal and Black are my second options.

2. A patent leather shoe- I went on a field trip to Nine West... I love that place. And I tried on everything I liked, but the shoe that I must have is the black patent leather peep toe Mary Jane shoe that Nine West calls Carlen. It is a knockout and will make a statement wherever you go. I can't wait to get it. My Shop Etc. magazine has a 15% off coupon that starts on August 8th, 2006. I will wait until then to get the shoe, but not a day later.

I have to get ready for the Fall, it's my favorite season of the year....

Is it fall already? I'm planning on wearing my heeled sandals for quite a while longer.

Hi Natalie...
No, it's not fall yet. These are my transition items. You should still be totally wearing all your summer sandals. I will buy these shoes tomorrow and start wearing them by September to work or on evening dates, here and there....
I just love fall and I know if I wait that my shoe size will not be available....

Epitomi,

I have been avoiding this question b/c I don't like that you seem consider the size of your feet to be a problem....Size of your feet and/or body are never a problem.

However, I have to see you entirely with a full outfit to tell you exactly what type of shoe is flattering for you.

In my opinion, a skinny ankle looks better with shoes that have straps around the ankles with a low to medium heel. The higher the heel the thinner your ankle will look b/c you will be elongating your body and everything will look slimmer. You want to avoid wearing platforms, as they would be the ones giving you the cement feet look.

Also, you are totally correct with stockings in black, they are very fashionable for the FW 2006. The all black on the legg(shoe and stocking) will comouflag the thin ankles and teh big feet....
