I Go International to Target...

This past weekend I went to Target to check out the Go International collection by Paul & Joe that they brought in for Fall 2006. It seems as if Target has decided to keep the Isaac Mizrahi's line permanently, and the Go International collection will be the one to have new designers every season. This is a such a great idea, because now they have me going into their store regularly to check out whatever new Go International designer they may have.
I liked what I saw from the Paul & Joe collection and I also grabbed some other Mossimo and Xhilaration basics with a twist.

I love this sweater by Paul & Joe. It fits like a glove, comfortable and cute, the green details on the v-neck and the sleeves make this sweater look like one of a kind. $29.99

The Paul & Joe tuxedo shirt turned feminine is just so cute that I had to have it. It has a delicate cream color, puffy sleeves and a cute collar. $19.99
This Mossimo sweater got picked out of the bunch because of the perfect cut. It is very comfortable and $100% cotton, you would never be able to tell by the silhouette. It's like wearing a sweater but with the fit of a jacket. At $16.99 it is a steal. I bought a Burgundy one as well. It is raining in NY today, so I am wearing the Burgundy sweater with a grey top, jeans and Puma sneakers.
I got this great hoody in a charcoal color by Mossimo. It's really soft and I would love to wear it with an unexpected bottom like a pencil skirt and ofcourse with jeans.

I got this V-neck Tunic from Xhilaration at Target and wore it to work yesterday with a houndstooth pair of slacks and a papaya colored tank top.
I make at least two trips a year to Target, Summer and Fall to get what I call the basics with a twist. Target is very nice on the wallet and I have found that different Target locations receive different items of one collection. You should go and explore, you never know what you might find.

LOVE IT LOVE IT!! I just came back from Target where I bought a couple of sweaters. They are too cute and I especially love the price! And this is coming from a flu flu Brooklyn Boutique Girl!! Soon we will all look like bad copies of EP. The only problem I have with the Target in my area is that all the cute stuff sells out within a few days.

Do you like any of that Isaac Mizrahi stuff at Target, because I'm just not into it. I was pleased to see this Paul and Joe stuff, although I think most of it looks best on skinny narrow shouldered people with little breasts.

I totally love the Mossimo sweater. I had checked it out when they first hit the stores and didn't get it... but I went running to the store the other day to get it because I really really liked it and after seeing it on your blog, I remembered again how much I liked it. I wore it yesterday at work and I loved it. Got nice compliments from people, so the sweater was a hit....
