I received THE DRESS!!!

I am the first one to say that you should dress the body you have and not the body that you want. This means, forget about the size number on clothing and, just try it on and buy only what fits properly.

BUT, BUT, BUT!! Hear me out on this one for a second........

Yesterday, I received my Black Halo Jackie O Dress from Saks (that I loved on Amanda and I blogged about previously), and here is the deal. I bought the dress in a size that fits a bit too tight. However, I already made up my mind and their is absolutely no way that I am sending the dress back and departing from it. So I decided to tweak my eating habits and my workout schedule in order to shed a couple of pounds and have the dress fit perfectly.

Therefore, in 6 weeks time (May 17th, 2007). I will be trying on the dress for another fitting. If it fits, then I will be going out on the town (NYC) with my fab dress. If not, then I will return the dress and get the appropriate size.

I think this is a feasible compromise.
