This past Saturday, March 12th was a beautiful day in NYC and the weather always plays a part as to how I feel and what I will wear. I felt cheery, bold, and happy.

My latest bootie purchase. I don't feel like it's a super exciting purchase but I do feel like I needed it. I bought the red toned bootie. And the best part of them is that they are comfortable...

Animal Print Forever and Ever

Animal print is one of those accessories that don't ever go out of style. They also go very well with most items in most wardrobes.

So when I walked into Nine West and saw these heels I couldn't resist and I had to buy them.

Oh Val! Nine West

I like this shoe and I don't all at the same time. Add the fact that the shoe costs $199 from the Boutique 9 collection at Nine West (named Val). I think this is too much money but it's something about this caged shoe with a big bow in my ankles that says "buy me and do whatever you need to do to take me home".

I need help....

Lusting Over...

I have to say it. In this economy I am not shopping for anything. My thinking process goes a bit like this. "Enid, you have alot of stuff, you don't have space for all your stuff, save that money for some other stuff..." However, I have one item in my heart and mind that I can not shake out.

It is a shoe from NINE WEST, Jezebelle. The cost of the shoe is $129.00, which is a bit expensive for a NINE WEST shoe, if you ask me. Therefore, I have been waiting for the price to drop for a month now with no avail.

It comes in other colors and in suede. I'm in love with the metallic. I envision these shoes with white capri pants to wear this summer.

AHHH!! Trust me, this lust will one day turn into love and the shoes will be mine.

I recently went through my closet and cleaned everything out...or maybe I should say I trashed everything out (I really donated it). The rule was that everything that had not been worn in 6 month or longer was out...

Naturally, now that I have more room, some new stuff now needs to come in.

I love these pumps. I bought them in black, grey patent, and red patent leather. They are very classic pumps but with a twist.

My Latest Acquisition

I couldn't stop thinking about them!!!!
That's when I know that I have to buy something. I get this strong sense of urgency. And whenever I'm getting dressed every outfit would look better with that one item that is still in the store and not in my closet. I can't stop thinking about it and sometimes I can't even stop telling my friends about it. In addition to all this, I usually start going over the different reasons in my head as to why this purchase is a good one. That's when it gets to be too much and I figure that for the peace of mind I should just buy "IT'. Whatever "IT" may be.
This week these two shoes were "IT".

I bought them both yesterday and am wearing Liatris today. I love every single part of Liatris. She has a red sole and is my first platform shoe. I expect to wear Trenton no later than tomorrow, of course if the weather permits.

Rocker/Biker/Riding Boots

I love Jessica Alba's style. In my eyes, her style is urban chic. She always looks very simple and cute. I saw this picture of her wearing these rocker/biker/riding boots and promised myself to find something similar.
It was a very difficult task and at the end I found a Nine West pair that I thought would do the trick.
I forgot all about this, until.....My blogger friend D.Celestine @ Shopaholics Anonymous did a post about these Jessica Alba boots and also found a perfect pair for her (Cole Haan). My comment to her was, "I looked for boots like these as well and found something but not as close to the Jessica Alba boots as you did." Her comment to me was "Enid, did you post a picture of the ones you found?"

"New shoes clear the blues"

I love shoes... and so when people say "New shoes clear the blues"... I know exactly what they mean. Shoes have a powerfull way of letting me express myself and how I'm feeling on a particular day. (ie. wearing pumps..I feel sexy and classy, wearing flip flops means I feel like I'm at the beach, wearing sneakers means I feel sporty...etc)
Anyway, I went to a Nine West outlet. They usually have a good deal there; buy one pair of shoes and get the second pair at 50% off. There is one problem with the deal though, I have to find 2 pairs of shoes that I like... From my comment above you can suspect that this is not really a real problem at all. So I bought two shoes. I promised myself from my last pair of patent leather shoes that the next time I bought shoes I would not buy a black pair. I just have too many pair of black shoes. It was the best promise I have ever made to myself. This pair featured here, I totally fell in love with soo much that I can't even stop looking at my feet. I had to take some pictures. They make me feel powerful with a twist. The color gives it the twang, twist and quirkyness that is my personality.

If any shoes make you feel like this... I have one suggestion... GET THEM!!!
